An active freelancer in Westchester, New York City, and the Hudson Valley, Jarrett Hoffman frequently performs with the West Point Band and The Orchestra Now on clarinet, E-flat clarinet, and bass clarinet, and has appeared at venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Jazz At Lincoln Center.

Hoffman is also principal clarinet of Taconic Opera and Hudson Opera Theater, and has performed with the Woodstock Symphony, Hudson Valley Symphony Orchestra, Bronx Opera, and Georgia Symphony. He has been featured on the Noontime at Emanuel series as part of the Hoffman Duo, and has appeared at festivals such as Round Top Festival Institute, the Banff Centre, and Atlantic Music Festival.

A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and Manhattan School of Music, his former teachers include Anthony McGill, Richard Hawkins, and Jeanne Frieben.
